About Kathryn
Kathryn Fantauzzi is on a mission to change lives. She is a CEO, inventor, speaker, and a thought leader at the convergence of health, technology, and data.
Kathryn has led world-class teams and multi-million dollar projects to deliver breakthrough tech commercialization for the Energy Research and Development Authority in New York. She is now CEO, co-founder, & co-inventor of Apollo Neuroscience, a new technology that improves sleep, focus, and mood through your body’s natural response to soothing touch. In just a few years, Kathryn transformed Apollo Neuro from an idea in a university lab into a powerful tool that has already helped tens of thousands of people.
Kathryn was born and raised in New York, holds a B.A. from Smith College and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in behavioral economics and finance from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy. Kathryn has lectured on innovation, the intersection of research and business, and entrepreneurship at leading conferences like CES and universities including Brown University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Her most recent awards include the 2021 EY Entrepreneur of the Year, the 2020 SXSW Innovation Award, and the Paley Center’s 2020 Best of CES.
When not solving for some of the world’s toughest problems, you can find Kathryn whipping up dinner for family and friends, hiking up a trail, cycling down a mountain, swimming, sailing, or skiing.
